A$AP Rocky has returned to the top of the charts with Don’t Be Dumb, his fourth studio album, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 dated January 25th. The achievement marks Rocky’s third chart-topper and his first No. 1 album since 2015, confirming a major comeback moment in his career. In its first week, the project earned 123,000 equivalent album units in the United States, a strong showing in today’s highly competitive, streaming-led market.
Streaming powered most of the album’s success, as Don’t Be Dumb pulled in 76,000 streaming equivalent album units, translating to 78.02 million on-demand official streams, the biggest streaming week of Rocky’s career to date. Physical and digital sales also played a key role, contributing 47,000 units overall. The album’s rollout leaned heavily into collectible culture, with multiple vinyl variants selling over 40,000 copies, alongside CDs, cassettes, and deluxe boxed sets bundled with clothing.
Rihanna was quick to celebrate the milestone publicly. Posting on X, she wrote, “Just me here to let yall know my baby daddy got the NUMBER 1 ALBUM!!! Aaahhhhhh hah! 🤪 DONT BE DUMB!!!” Her message instantly drew attention, adding a personal and cultural spotlight to the achievement and sending fans into a frenzy online.
