Nigerian music superstar Rema is set to headline an upcoming concert at London’s O2.
Following the release of his latest album, “Rave & Roses,” in March 2022, the Afrobeats icon has become the talk of the town in African music and has now appeared on the digital cover of the latest issue of Clash.
During the interview for the piece, Rema told the outlet about his dedication to music:
“I knew it was coming because I made the sacrifices. I know the sacrifices I made before I came here. I know the sacrifices I made when I came here and I know the sacrifices I’m still making.”
With the announcement of his major UK gig yet, Rema’s career is only poised to reach new heights later this year. On November 14, the Nigerian superstar arrives to London’s The O2, and it promises to be a turning point in his career.
Rema adds in a note: “The UK has always shown special love to me and my music since day 1, they were the first place outside Africa to rock with me, so this show is special to me. London, I’m going to give you everything I have, I can’t wait to see you there.”
I can’t wait to have this unforgettable Night with y’all @TheO2 🦇🇬🇧
