Almost 7 months after ‘Power’ ended biding its legion of devoted fans bye, ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ is out onto screens to pick up from where it left off.
The second chapter welcomed music icons Method Man and Mary J. Blige among a host of other new faces, with Michael Rainey Jr. and Naturi Naughton as the lead cast.
With 680,000 viewership on September 6th for its premiere, it is a clear indication that fans couldn’t wait to get a taste of what awaits them in ‘Power Book II: Ghost.’
The show placed #1 among all scripted series for cable and is the only scripted series listed in the top 25 most viewed programs for Sunday.
As reported, ‘Power Book II’ is the first of four spinoffs stemming from the original ‘Power’.
