Billboard released the top 10 of their Billboard 200 ranking on Sunday (July 25), and Faith, Pop’s second posthumous album, is at the top, having defeated Olvia Rogrigo’s ‘Sour,’ following four non-consecutive weeks at #1.

Pop’s ‘Faith’ album managed to sell 88,000 equivalent album sales which include 4,000 conventional album sales. The Woo’s latest feat serves as his second album in the Billboard 200 chart’s top 10 including his 2020 Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon, which ranks No. 9.

Pop’s estate managed to keep the project well under wraps until it was announced a few days prior to the release. The Demeanor-led album features the likes of Kanye West, Pusha-T, Rick Ross, 21 Savage, Future, Chris Brown, Pharrell, Kid Cudi, with Dia Lupa appearing on the aforementioned lead track.

It is important to note, however, that Pop’s previous album, ‘Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon,’ which was released last year garnered more sales in its debut week, selling a whopping 251,000 units.

On February 19, 2020, the Brooklyn drill rapper was shot and killed in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles during an alleged house invasion. Two kids were reportedly among the five persons detained in connection with the murder.

However, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office chose not to seek the death sentence for Corey Walker at a hearing on Tuesday, 6th July. Instead, Deputy District Attorney Hilary Williams is now pursuing the maximum punishment, which is life in prison without the possibility of parole, if found guilty.
