Peloton appears to be making the best of a confusing situation, as the company has dropped a brand new ad amid the ‘Sex And The City‘ controversy.

Fans of the beloved TV series were caught off guard when Chris Noth’s Mr. Big character died following an intense exercise session with Peloton’s flagship exercise bike, which led to the company’s shares dropping 11%.

While reports of Chris Noth’s Mr. Big death broke the news and caused massive confusion as some fans of the actor assumed the actor had died in real life, only to discover it was all fiction and part of the show’s plot, Peloton has doubled down in the midst of the controversy and hired Chris Noth and Ryan Reynolds for a TV commercial.

Taking to social media, Ryan Reynolds shared the new ad which saw Noth sitting next to a Peloton trainer as the two toast “to new beginnings,” as Reynolds narrates in the video.

In the video which was captioned, “unspoiler alert,” the ‘Deadpool’ star can be heard saying:

“And just like that, the world was reminded that regular cycling stimulates and improves your heart, lungs and circulation. … Cycling strengthens your heart muscles, lowers resting pulse and reduces blood fat levels. He’s alive.”

Dr. Suzanne Steinbaum, a cardiologist on Peloton’s health and wellness advisory board, issued a statement following the show’s shocking episode.

“I’m sure SATC fans, like me, are saddened by the news that Mr. Big dies of a heart attack,” she said. “Mr. Big lived what many would call an extravagant lifestyle — including cocktails, cigars and big steaks — and was at serious risk, as he had a previous cardiac event in season 6. These lifestyle choices and perhaps even his family history, which often is a significant factor, were the likely cause of his death. Riding his Peloton bike may have even helped delay his cardiac event.”
