TORA-I – SERIAL
The London-based R&B artist, Tora-I enjoys a thoughtful moment on her first release this year. The singer looks back over a determinative but naïve period of her life on her tender new song, Serial. The song fuses ethereal spectral R&B production with brass celebrations and smooth vocals.
The song is no doubt warm, reflective, and loaded with the kind of romantic knowledge a person only gains in hindsight. The music video takes the concept of putting a relationship into the rearview mirror.
KAREN NYAME KG X TALIWHOAH – MANTRA
The suitably dubbed Goddess of Rhythm, KG finally shares the emotional, glorious roller Mantra featuring Taliwhoa. This is the third single from the genre-blending and sensational forthcoming EP Sensei II of KG.
Mantra is one of the five tracks forthcoming on the full-length EP, which is composed of a heavy blend of Taliwhoa’s luscious vocals, shimmery pads, and the signature rolling percussion of KG. It’s no doubt a sunshine-filled and powerful EP with five emotive tracks, covering everything from desire, sexuality to love, women empowerment, and high vibrations.
SKEETE – NOTICE ME
SKEETE finally released his new song, Notice Me. The song was written and directed by Rexo and produced by Charlie Bone. The new song is an absolute banger, attracting every listener in. The artist is proud to release his first engaging and impressive music from the city in the past year.
Emotive and passionate, Notice Me is carried by its banging and lowkey instrumental that compliments SKEETE’s soulful and hypnotic vocals perfectly. The instrumental merges flawlessly with his vocals that create a bop and enticing sound.
SHAMIYA BATTLES – GOOD NEWS
Are you a fan of NAO and Solange? Then you may have already heard of Shamiya Battles. Her voice is extremely relaxing combined with a sweet, dreamy element that everyone will love. Her new single, Good News, is now streaming on YouTube and other platforms.
According to the singer, music has always been following her around. She always loved singing but has been very shy. When she studied music in college, that’s where she learned how to produce, arrange, and about jazz in general.
