The sequel, directed by Lord of the Rings legend Andy Serkis, continues the story of Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock, who must coexist with an alien symbiote.

Although the first installment of the film was not well received by critics, it went on to be a massive box office success, grossing more than $855 million worldwide.

The latest video, which is set to the Three Dog Night song ‘One Is the Loneliest Number,’ also shows Brock’s difficult condition over an especially chaotic meal, with Venom’s tentacles wreaking havoc in the kitchen.

In addition to Hardy’s comeback, Woody Harrelson’s crazed villain Cletus Kasady, who transforms into the red symbiote Carnage, takes center stage here.

Stephen Graham, who starred in Line of Duty, makes a cameo appearance in Sony’s Marvel universe, with the main cast completed by Michelle Williams and Naomie Harris.

Speaking of the upcoming sequel, Serkis said: “It’s a fantastic franchise and I’m honoured to be asked to direct it. It feels like a very contemporary story, and I think, hopefully, that it’s going to be an extraordinary piece of cinema.”

‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ is set to premiere in theatres coming September 15th. Check out the official trailer below.
