As reported here Drake announced his forthcoming album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ will debut in Jan of 2021 but gave no specifics as to the release date.
According to Drake’s friend Odell Beckham Jr, 1st January 2021 is the special day as he revealed on the All Things Covered podcast. The news quickly broke and fans lost it online as that would be mere weeks away.
However, DJ Akademiks took to Twitter to rectify the misunderstanding saying: According to Drake, January 1st, 2021 WAS gonna be the date for the release of “Certified Lover Boy” before he got injured… so OBJ probably thought it was still the date.. it’s not tho.

Kind of a bummer for Drizzy fans but one thing is for sure, Drake’s music is always worth the wait.
