Jamie Spears, 68, said his daughter had the impairment on forms to justify managing her finances, but fans argue that if that were the case, Britney would be unable to learn songs and routines.

While on conservatorship, Britney released a single called Swimming In The Stars on her 39th birthday in December, and she has released four albums and gone on four world tours which in turn supports fan arguments.

According to documents to be revealed in a documentary by journalist Mobeen Azhar, which is set to be televised in the UK next week, the dementia claim may be the reason she has been living under stringent legal restrictions for the past 12 years.

Prior to his recent findings, Mr Azhar has previously found fan claims of dementia as the reason for the singer’s strict constraints as a ‘conspiracy theory’ as it sounded ‘a bit out there.’

Per the Mirror, Azhar said: “There are a couple of fan sites who said they have got hold of paperwork surrounding the conservatorship.

“You have to tick a box justifying the reason and the box that is ticked, it says: ‘The order is related to dementia placement or treatment as specified.”

According to reports, persons under 65 years make up less than 5% of dementia cases in the US, a finding that led Azhar to think it is unlikely for Britney to have the condition.

All of this comes just in time for Britney Spears’ appearance in court for the first on June 23rd.

Taking to social media, after reports of her impending court appearance, Spears shared an interesting post on Instagram which sees a young girl posing with her middle finger up.

The caption for the post read: “Hi my name is Britney Spears … nice to meet you 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼!!!!! One of my strongest gifts is that I’m pretty straight forward 😂🙊😜 !!!!!”
