Havana Club has partnered up with UK femcee Ms Banks on a new initiative celebrating people sharing positivity across the art world and their broader culture to mark the arrival of their new Cuban Spiced fall.

The initiative, titled Raise One, is a digital video series in which Ms Banks and Havana Club highlight three voices that add “spice” to their fields.

Ms Banks will host the three episodes, which will center around dance, food/drink, and music, and will honor the artist that has been chosen for the social impact they bring.

Chop Daily, a social media platform devoted to showcasing afrobeat dance videos, will be featured in the first episode, while Trap Kitchen, an independent restaurant chain, will be featured in the second. The third installment would focus on No Signal, a successful Black radio station.

“[Cuban Spiced] is all about flavour, fun and creativity which is why we’ve partnered with Ms Banks to celebrate emerging talent across a variety of industries,” said Anne Martin, Global Marketing Director at Havana Club International. “Ms Banks is the embodiment of the attitude and energy Cuban Spiced stands for and she will be at the heart of our campaign.

“We’re thrilled to be giving a platform to emerging voices in creative spaces and hope it will inspire others to share their #SpicedVibes.”

The series will premiere exclusively on GRM Daily before moving to @havanaclubuk Instagram TV, with the first episode premiering on Friday, May 14th.

Havana Club’s first spiced offering, Cuban Spiced, is now available in shops and features tropical notes of pineapple, guava, toasted coconut, and warming spices.
