UK is the home for grime music and looking at the current climate of grime music, it couldn’t be a better time to have a new label set in the UK.
The announcement made on Monday September 14th, has the label being helmed by Rob Pascoe and will have their own dedicated team and resources.
Per statements, the label will be focused on signing local artists and Afryea Henry-Fontaine will serve as marketing director.
The whole endeavour comes to expand the company’s platform for Black entrepreneurs. Speaking on the transition, Motown president Ethiopia Habtemariam said: “…[it] could not be more perfect.”
