The late-night chat show saw massive success during its first season after premiering in 2019 as it quickly gained popularity thanks to its unique format with games, comedy, and music.
The apparent success of the show saw Mo working with a number of major names in the first season, including Tyson Fury, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and others.
Subsequently, the show was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance Award last year, edging out Graham Norton and Frankie Boyle.
Head of Entertainment at Channel 4, Phil Harris said of the popular show: “We are delighted Mo is fronting a new series of [BAFTA-winning] The Lateish Show. He has an infectious energy on and off screen and there’s nobody better than Mo to bring our audiences the fun we all want in 2021.”
We have our reminders set for the return, hope you have too!
