The 2009 hit song ‘Party In The USA’ has earned Miley Cyrus’ first-ever Diamond certification. The pop star was surprised with a Diamond plaque on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Originally intended for Jessie J, which she passed on due to the song not being edgy enough, Miley must be excited to see the song become her very first Diamond certification by the RIAA.
Miley joins the elite few who have achieved this feat such as Adele, Justin Bieber, Eminem, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Mariah Carey, Taylor Swift, and more.
