Nicki Minaj fans once again prove they always got her back as the Barbs stormed iTunes merely minutes after the release of ‘What That Speed About?’ and dominated iTunes for 24 hours straight.
Released on 6th November at 12am, ‘What That Speed About?’ Is already at number one on the iTunes chart in the ‘all genres’ and Rap categories.
The song also sits at number one on the real-time sales tallies. If the song should debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 next two weeks, Nicki Minaj would be breaking a tie with Taylor Swift for the most Hot 100 appearances amongst women.
The strong demand for Nicki music is apparent from how well the track has done is just 48 hours of its release. Also coming soon is Mike Will’s third LP and if “What That Speed About?” Is any indication, we are to expect something amazing from the talented producer.
