Meek Mill in an effort to calm the rap scene in his beloved city Philadelphia hasn’t gone as he had hoped. His latest tweets asking rappers in Philly to put down the guns and make money only caused more disturbance and quickly escalated on Twitter.

Before Meek Mill deleted his Twitter accounts, the rapper was being bombarded with harsh tweets after his gentle tweet to end the violence and promising to help the artists get a music deal with his influence in the game.

“I’ll get all the main big artist in Philly a deal if they put them bodies behind them and squash them beefs …I hear about,” Meek tweeted on Sunday. “got some hot young bulls from my city but they all beefing! And that’s just a idea but I’ll push thru with my city if y’all make it thing! It’s like 5 clicks that’s talented but they deep in! And get they most attention when they beefing!”

Somehow, the idea of putting dead friends and family members “behind them” sounded disrespectful to the streets and they made sure to slam Meek Milly on social media with others saying he’s been hanging out with the opposition.

Meek Mill after been told by Poundside that he’s been banned from the Northside, took to social media to flood Poundside’s Instagram comment section.

All the beefing and exchange going on on social media caught the attention of fans from the city and from their perspective, it seemed Meek Mill was only trying to help end the violence and give the artists a better oath to success but they’d rather continue the violence.

More memes came flooding Twitter mocking the Philadelphia people and Milly.
