Taking to Instagram, Maya shares her exciting news with a short clip and captioned:
“SOO excited to finally share my first proper little acting role with you all!! Making my Netflix debut playing Sandra in the QUEEEN Katherine Ryan’s brand new series The Duchess out nowww. The whole series is sick go n ave a looook”.
The series which is created by and starring Katherine Ryan is about the life of a single Mum trying to balance her career, motherhood whilst considering having another baby.
Speaking on Maya’s role, Katherine shared with Metro saying:
“The worst nightmare is that your boyfriend moves on, and he moves on with Maya Jama. I just thought it was so funny to create the worst-case scenario.”
‘The Duchess’ is available to stream now on Netflix.
