Mariah Carey and the entertainment powerhouse Roc Nation have severed their four-year partnership, according to the Daily Mail.
Rumours that suggested that there was drama was debunked by an insider, who said: “Mariah’s relationship with Roc Nation ended amicably and Mariah and Jay-Z are on great terms”
Mimi was signed to The Roc following her contentious parting with Stella Bulochnikov in 2017. The songbird is also claimed to be finishing her new “R&B inspired album” with plans for a world tour.
Mariah Carey’s move to Roc Nation has been an eventful one, citing massive achievements including her highly-acclaimed ‘Caution’ album, earning numerous number 1’s with her Christmas special, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You,’ signing a major book deal which saw the singer earn New York Times bestseller for ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey’ amongst others.
According to The Sun, Carey has “been talking to other managers and thinks she has found someone who she feels has full belief in her as she takes her next steps.”
Although some may find it difficult to understand their separation, we feel Mariah knows best what she needs and we can only wish her the best in her future endeavors.
