Mariah Carey is getting ready to fill the air with joy as her holiday special ‘Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special’ is set for December 4th. Mimi covers the latest issue of Elle Magazine, where she discusses her year and all that’s happening.

2020 has undoubtedly been a rough one for many and Mariah along with her team, plans to un-cancel Christmas even though most families and friends may not be able to be together this holiday.

During the sit-down, Mariah said: “It’s been such a hard year, and I really feel like people so need a celebratory moment. At every turn, it’s like, ‘We can’t be [together]; you can’t celebrate. This is canceled; that’s canceled.’

Talking about her achievements this year, Mariah made mention of the likelihood of her best-selling memoir “The Meaning of Mariah Carey” having an onscreen version.

The highly-anticipated ‘Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special’ will include a new version of her song “oh Santa!” with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson which she calls a “girl’s group moment”.
