It was only two days ago that rumours first circulated about the ‘We Belong Together’ hitmaker is gearing up to exit Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label and Mimi has already taken to social media to criticize the rumours.

Carey took to Twitter and shared a message to all who “make up” such claims, saying:

“The only “explosive” situation I’d ever “get into” with Hov is a creative tangent, such as our #1 song “Heartbreaker”!! To the people who make up these lies I say “Poof! —Vamoose, sonofa*****”!”

However, Mimi didn’t deny her plans to depart from Roc Nation but debunk claims that she and Hov had been in an “explosive meeting” which led to her decision to exit the record label.

The report comes after The Sun claimed on Friday that Carey has plans to leave Roc Nation after an “explosive meeting” with Jay-Z over of her career and its future.

Per the source: “Mariah and Jay had an explosive meeting which did not go well at all. She has made it clear she wants nothing more to do with him and has called it quits with Roc Nation. She will formally depart in the next few weeks. It is a shame because they had done some great work in the last few years. But this meeting couldn’t have gone much worse.”

Carey joined with Roc Nation nearly four years ago after sacking her previous manager Stella Bulochnikov. The iconic singer-songwriter has released her 30th-anniversary album The Rarities, as well as her best-selling memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey, since signing with Jay’s Roc Nation.

Only time will tell as neither party has officially announced or commented on Mimi leaving the label as per rumours. Stay tuned to YEEEAAH! Network for more updates.
