On Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards in Brooklyn, New York, rockstar Machine Gun Kelly and MMA star Conner McGregor got into a heated altercation, which was later defused by Kelly’s girlfriend Megan Fox, among others.
According to reports, the altercation took place just before the ceremony commenced, while they were each posing for photographers on the red carpet along with their partners.

In an effort to calm down tempers, star actress Megan Fox would wrap her arms around boyfriend Kelly, while others intervened and got the pair away from the crowd.

According to TMZ, McGregor approached MGK for a photo together, which per reports, Kelly would turn down. Feeling embarrassed, the former UFC champion and Kelly would exchange words till the point where things got heated, with Kelly going on to push McGregor, leaving him to stumble and spill his drink.
Per reports, it will take McGregor a second or two to collect himself, then go on to throw what remained of his drink at MGK, who also had his girlfriend Megan nearby.
In images and videos taken at the scene, McGregor, dressed in a pink jacket and black pants, is seen shouting and running straight towards MGK, who was dressed in a sparkly red suit.
Soon after the brawl began, Megan along with each celebrity’s team and security will jump in to calm them down, separating them from each other.
Per reports, neither party landed a punch during the altercation, which probably assisted in the ceremony moving forward as planned with Kelly taking the stage later to perform with drummer Travis Barker.
