Days after announcing that she’s got a brand new single coming soon, Lizzo has unveiled the artist featuring on the track and it’s none other than Cardi B.
Unveiling the femcee, Lizzo released a clip on social media, which sees the ‘Truth Hurts’ singer calling someone on FaceTime, with the contact saved up as “RUMORS’ Feat…”
The video shows Cardi B answering the call, and Lizzo greets her saying, “Good morning, motherfu**er!”
“That’s who it’s featuring y’all, period,” says Lizzo before joking, “It’s Harry Styles!”
A somewhat sleepy Cardi B, responds, “What’s going on? Why you call me so early? It’s 9 o’clock in the morning.”

This is the first time the Atlantic Records labelmates have worked together and not from a lack of trying, as Cardi previously revealed she attempted to enlist Lizzo during the shoot for her “WAP” music video, but the Grammy Award-winner was unable to do so since she was out of town.
“Rumors” is Lizzo’s first new song since her Grammy-winning album Cuz I Love You, which was released in 2019. “Rumors” is slated to be released on Friday, August 13th.
