The British singer has made her late-night television debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, performing ‘Woman’ which is lifted off her forthcoming album, ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert.’

Little Simz has her sights set on the United States after tearing up the UK with a rhythmic and slick performance on Jimmy Fallon. She brings Fallon to the gala while crooning and rapping over a live band, accompanied by an all-woman ensemble.

Little Simz stated in an interview that she wrote the song to empower and celebrate women.

“I love it when I see women doing their thing and looking flawless; I’m here for that! It’s empowering, it’s inspiring; I wanted to say thank you and I wanted to celebrate them.”

Simz also spoke with DIY Mag about the creation of ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert,’ explaining how she respected the views of those around her when putting the record together.

“I need people around me who tell the honest truth about something,” she explained. “Whether they think it can be better or there’s somebody to tell me I’m doing too much. That’s really important to have as well as the trust I have within myself.”

The much-anticipated record is expected to include features from the likes of Obongjayar and Cleo Sol.
