English Singer, Actress and Little Mix’s sensation, Perrie Edwards is ‘close to joining’ Columbia Records.
The Pitch Perfect 2 Actress is the latest of the Girl group to sign to a major record label after Jade Thirwall (RCA Records), Leigh Anne Pinnock (Warner Records), and Jessy Nelson (Polydor-Universal) who left a year before the break and exited Polydor in 2022 with just one single.
Perrie Edwards rose to stardom in 2010 as a member of the British Girl Group where she released six albums, DNA (2012), Salute (2013), Get Weird (2015), Glory Days (2016), LMS (2018), Confetti (2020) and Between Us (2021).
A source quoted saying: “Perrie is super-talented and label execs think she could be a global star.
They are very keen to ink a deal soon and talks have been ongoing.
[She] is bursting with ideas for solo material.”
If this deal goes through, Perrie will be a member of the record label home to artists like Beyonce and Harry Styles.
