Little Mix will be hosting the MTV Europe Music Awards 2020 as they’ve been confirmed as the hosts and will also be delivering a special performance.

Our favourite superstar girl group are set to host the EMAs on November 8th with this year’s awards show taking place in several locations around Europe including Hungary due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall of the Little Mix in a joint statement announced, “What an honour! To present the MTV EMA’s is a dream, it’s such a special event.

We’ve always loved watching the spectacular performances and seeing who everyone has voted to win. This year we’ll also be performing our new single Sweet Melody, our second EMA performance. The show will go on and we can’t wait.

The president of music at ViacomCBA Media Networks, Bruce Gilmmer added, “We’re thrilled to welcome Little Mix, who performed at our 2018 show in Bilbao, back to the EMA Stage.

Hosting and performing is no small feat, but there is no, doubt this powerhouse group will crush it!

You can say this is perfect timing for the girls as they are set to release their new album, Confetti, just two days before on November 6th.

It is going to be a big night for the girls who have received four EMA nominations for pest pop alongside BTS, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.

They are also up for the best group and best virtual live for UN Cancelled and a Best UK & Ireland Act local act nomination.

So super excited!
