Jade Thirwall, Perrie Edwards, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have just won the award for Best British Group at the prestigious event for the first time.

The ladies paid tribute to the many worthy groups that came before them, including the Spice Girls, Sugababes, Girls Aloud, and All Saints, with the victory.
While on stage, the ladies used the opportunity to speak out about the widespread nature of racism and sexism in the entertainment industry.
“Guys, we’ve just made history! I’m emotional,” Edwards said, “It’s not easy being a female in the UK pop industry,” Pinnock added.
“We have seen white male dominance, misogyny, sexism, and lack of diversity. We are proud of how we have stuck together, stood our ground, and surrounded ourselves with strong women and are now using our voices more than ever.”
Little Mix’s impressive win comes after many changes in the group’s dynamic including the departure of founding member Jesy Nelson and recently announced two pregnancies from Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
