Taking to social media, Jesy Nelson recently alluded to her debut solo single being on the way, however, Little Mix fans are worried that the song may arrive just as her former bandmates gears up for their tenth-anniversary festivities.
As Little Mix fans have expressed worry on social media that Nelson’s solo endeavour appears to be set for release on the 10th anniversary of Little Mix’s formation.
The former Little Mix member made waves on social media earlier this week when she shared a sneak peek of her impending debut track on Instagram.
Although many fans were ecstatic about the idea of new music from Jesy, some were skeptical of the timing of the announcement citing the upcoming 10th anniversary of her former band on August 19th.
Taking to social media, Little Mix fans expressed their thoughts on how disrespectful and inappropriate the move will be, saying:
“I swear to god, if Jesy releases new music on Little Mix’s 10 year anniversary and takes the spotlight away from them I’m gonna lose my mind,” one said.
Another tweeted: “After 9 years with little mix she’s really going to release her solo single on the 10th Anniversary of the group. So disrespectful. So disappointed Jesy Nelson. Leigh Anne, Jade and Perrie always supported and defended her.”
With all of these mixed feelings, it’s probable that everything is just a coincidence, as no official release date for the debut song has been confirmed. However, we can see how fans would interpret Jesy’s announcement in that light.
