The tracklist for Lil Nas X’s debut full-length studio album, Montero, has been released. The album features Megan Thee Stallion, Elton John, Miley Cyrus, and Doja Cat, in addition to the tracks “Montero (Call Me by Your Name),” “Sun Goes Down,” and “Industry Baby.”

Fresh off the heels of his newly awarded Suicide Prevention Advocate of the Year by the Trevor Project, the ‘Montero’ hitmaker has given fans a look into what to expect from the body of work. Nas was commended in a statement from the group praising him for his candor regarding his sexuality and suicide thoughts, as well as the unabashed embrace of his queer identity.

Following the reveal, a fan noted that the list of features was missing any black male artist as it only included women and white male artists. X addressed the inquiry, tweeting:

Lil Nas X released his ‘7’ EP in the summer of 2019 and was silent for much of 2020. He released “Holiday” in November and “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” in March 2021. X announced the ‘Montero’ album in June with a trailer following suit a few weeks later.

Prior to the album’s release on Sept. 17th, Nas is set to appear on stage for the MTV VMAs which will air live on Sept. 12th at 8 pm on MTV.
