Following Lil Nas X’s recent reaffirmation as the master troll on Twitter, the “Montero” hitmaker has released his latest track, “Industry Baby” featuring Jack Harlow.

Industry Baby comes days after X took to social media to release a two-minute skit of himself, playing the accused, the defense, the prosecution, and the presiding judge. The hilarious skit quickly went viral on Twitter amounting to over 150k likes in less than 24 hours.

Lil Nas X was sentenced to Montero State Prison in the last video, and now we discover what occurs throughout his narrative incarceration. The Christian Breslauer-directed music video, sees X attain self-confidence, before deciding to prove everyone wrong. He then takes on the mission to break free from prison and finally manages to get away with the aid of Jack Harlow.

Nas had a message to himself, which read:

“Dear 20-year-old Montero,

“I wrote a song for us. I know sometimes you feel like it’s all downhill from here. I know your sexuality has made you feel like an outcast amongst your peers. I know going from having the biggest song in the world to being trapped in your apartment is weighing heavy on you. And I know if you hear the phrase ‘one hit wonder’ one more time you might combust. But I need you to keep going. I need you to realize that you have the opportunity to be the person that you needed growing up. I need you to stop feeling sorry for yourself. And I need you to remember that the only person who has to believe in YOU is YOU.”

In addition to the album’s release, Lil Nas X has unveiled a collaboration with The Bail Project, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to ending cash bail, which is one of the primary causes of mass imprisonment and systemic racism in the United States’ criminal justice system. He believes that the “Bail X Fund” would inspire other artists to join him and The Bail Project in the campaign to abolish cash bail. Lil Nas X has given the first donation, Jack Harlow is stepping up to help, and fans are encouraged to donate as well. All donations go to The Bail Project’s national revolving bail fund, which is used to pay people’s bails.
