Fresh off the heels of her BET red carpet last night, the ‘Lighters Up’ rapper expressed her desire to partake in a Verzuz showdown and even had in mind one of the industry’s best as her opponent.
Kim quickly responded “yes” when asked if she’d be willing to compete against another MC in a hypothetical Verzuz battle. When asked who she would want to square up against in a showdown, she said, “Nicki.”

Although it is uncertain whether such a pairing is feasible given that most pairings have been of two or more legends from the past, the couple had previously had their disagreements dating back to 2007, with Kim having to put an end to beef rumours in the past.
This comes on the heels of Bow Wow and Soulja Boy’s spectacular battle last night, which drew over 500,000 views. It remains to be seen whether Nicki Minaj will issue a statement or if the legendary producers would agree to such a match-up.
