The Englewood-native took to his Instagram account moments ago to announce his break from social media.

Sharing the news with fans, Durk said:
“I’m finna disappear for a minute. Deactivating my page at eight o clock, it’s over with. I’m finna lock in, come back 1000 times stronger on some monster shit. Every time I pop back up, is that really him? Yeah.”
The announcement comes on the heels of the recent release of Durk’s deluxe edition of his ‘7220’ record, after which the rapper revealed his next project is in the works and would be a collaborative effort with Metro Boomin.
Speaking with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, Durk addressed a question about the album, saying:
“As far as next album, you done heard something. Nah, it’s really the Metro” and “Guaranteed. If that got leaked, ya’ll have had it. You’re not on the level.”
Durk and Metro Boomin have long toyed with the notion of releasing an album, but Durk has since put out a number of projects.
