Following recent reports of Kanye West holding a private party where the rapper is said to have previewed his upcoming album to a select few, Lil Durk has taken to social media to reveal why he supposedly missed a feature on Ye’s album.

Reacting to a post on Instagram by social media influencer Justin Laboy, Lil Durk revealed he would have been featured on the album if he hadn’t missed his flight.

He commented: “I missed the jet…well next album.”

Kanye was honored earlier this year in the Cole Bennett-directed music video for “Kanye Krazy,” which is featured on the deluxe edition of Durk’s sixth studio album, The Voice.

Inspired by Ye, Durk recreated some of ‘Ye’s most famous moments in the video, like riding a motorbike in front of a green screen in “Bound 2” and wearing ridiculously large clothes in “I Like It.”

All is not lost though, as Kanye is notorious for fine-tuning things right up to the last minute, and sometimes even after a project is set to be launched.
