According to reports, Liam Payne has recorded a new song that will be included in an upcoming Disney film.

The 27-year-old singer is claimed to have been contacted about a song for Ron’s Gone Wrong, a film that the studio is co-producing with 20th Century Fox.

The source told Daily Star: “Liam was asked earlier this year to do a song for Ron’s Gone Wrong.

“The track isn’t intended to be part of his second era following LP1 [Liam’s debut studio album] but more as an addition.”

According to the source, Liam and his team are hoping to release more music before the film’s October release date.

They also stated that with plans in motion to lift the lockdown, Liam will be performing in Brazil at the end of the year and India in 2022.

Per the reports, Liam will be following the move of bandmate Zayn Malik, who previously covered ‘A Whole New World’ for Disney’s Aladdin live-action adaptation in 2019.

The news comes after Liam recently shared during a podcast interview with Steven Barlett on Diary of a CEO, where he revealed he and fiancée Maya Henry have called off their engagement adding that he wanted to ‘work on himself’ although he felt bad about ‘hurting’ Maya, 21.
