In her documentary Race, Pop & Power, Leigh-Anne Pinnock revealed her new charity with partner Andre Gray. Fans lauded Leigh-Anne Pinnock for her role in the UK’s Black Lives Matter campaign and for speaking out about racism in the music industry.

On Thursday, the singer released Race, Pop & Influence, an insightful BBC documentary in which she discusses how being the only black member of Little Mix impacted her.

Throughout the documentary, Leigh-Anne and her fiancé, Andre Gray, shared a desire to use their platform to support the black community in arts, which led them to found a new charity called ‘The Black Fund.’

Addressing the topic in the documentary, Leigh-Anne said: “There’s a problem, let’s address it. Let’s address it together. For the first time in my life, racism is the topic of conversation. We have the world’s attention.”

Speaking of the charity, the announcement post explained: “A charity built to support existing charities and community groups delivering support to the black community. We are so honoured we have been able to get this charity on its feet and we can’t wait to get started.”
