UK R&B artist Lavelle has released her new EP Moodboard, arriving via Canvas Music as she continues to cement her position within the UK R&B scene as an independent artist.

Opening with the aptly titled intro ‘Playtime’s Over’, Lavelle comes in strong, setting the tone for a project that feels like another statement of intent from the rising singer.

Moodboard also brings in two collaborations. Queen Millz joins Lavelle on ‘Regulation Zone’, while Geko features on ‘Habibti’, adding guest appearances from across the UK music scene while Lavelle’s vocals remain at the centre of the project.

The EP gives listeners a fuller introduction to Lavelle and builds on her previous individual releases with a more complete body of work. As an independent artist, Moodboard represents another step in establishing her own identity and space within British R&B.

With a new generation of homegrown R&B talent continuing to push the genre forward, Lavelle is making her intentions clear. From the moment ‘Playtime’s Over’ opens the project, Moodboard positions her as an artist ready to make her presence felt.

Moodboard by Lavelle is out now via Canvas Music.
