Krept is entering the skincare business, but with a focus on children.
Krept and his partner Sasha Ellese Gilbert are launching their baby skincare line, ‘Nala,’ after their one-year-old daughter suffered from eczema during the pandemic and, leaving her parents anxious to find a safe treatment for Nala.
Announcing their new venture, Krept and Sasha said:
“We’re so happy to present to you @nalasbabyuk the most natural and the first 0 rated clean baby skincare range to be launched in over 400 @bootsuk across the country and online on www.nalasbaby.com on June 20th.”
They went on: “To be able to say that is such a big achievement for us. We started this before Nala was born because a 0 rated clean product on @thinkdirty was not in any of our local retailers when we were shopping. So we spent years creating one, using a top laboratory with extensive research, hundreds of trials, testing and getting professional consulting and we finally did it. If you care about what goes on your baby’s skin, download the rating app, think dirty and type in whatever it is you use now and see for yourself, then type in Nala’s Baby ;).”
Adding, “We’re so proud of this product and creating a brand parents can fully trust. 99% naturally derived, vegan, eczema friendly, suitable for sensitive skin, tear, alcohol and cruelty free, 0 rated clean, no toxic ingredients, environmentally friendly, ethically made in Britain, suitable for all hair and skin types. We present to you Nala’s Baby. Nala has bad eczema so being able to use a product on Nala we can fully trust is an incredible feeling. This is only the beginning, plenty more coming.”
Nala’s Baby will be the first British-produced, accessible, and inclusive skincare range for newborns with a perfect zero rating on Think Dirty – a product-rating app dedicated to finding harmful chemicals and risks in personal care products – manufactured from 99 percent natural ingredients.
‘Nala’ is also free from toxins, chemicals, and parabens, and is cruelty-free and tear-free, vegan and eczema-friendly, and 100% recyclable.
‘Nala’ comes as the latest in Krept’s endeavors, which also include the Croydon-based restaurant Crepes & Cones and his events company Play Dirty Party.
