Kim Kardashian is said to be retaining her name ‘West’ even after her divorce with Kanye West is concluded.
According to sources close to the reality star, Kim will keep the ‘West’ in her name for the sake of their four children, North, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint, according to TMZ.
The move is supposedly linked to reports which suggest that there is currently no intention to alter either of their children’s last names, according to individuals acquainted with the pending divorce.
The revelation comes only days after it was revealed that Kanye had filed paperwork to officially alter his name to ‘Ye. Kim is said to be receptive to his choice to shorten his legal name because the HipHop phenom won’t have any difficulties with people not knowing who he is even with the change. Kanye has effectively identified himself as ‘Ye by means of social media for some time now., He also titled his 2018 album ‘Ye.’
Kim Kardashian has remained supportive of Kanye since the start of the divorce process, with both parents agreeing to share custody of their children. Along with their children, Kim has been present for both of Kanye’s ‘Donda’ Listening parties.
All good in the West camp.
