In news just in, the second phase of Kanye West’s ceremonial listening party for the long-awaited Donda album is underway.

According to Live Nation, West is to hold another listening party on August 5 at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium.

The announcement comes after Kanye’s manager, Abou “Bu” Thiam, teased the Kanye West Presents The Donda Album Release event on Instagram, implying that the album will be available for streaming shortly after the listening session.

Per an Instagram post shared by Ye, he is believed to be residing in a changing room at the facility, while finalizing Donda. Rumours suggested Kanye was inspired by the vibe from fans during the initial listening party at the event, which led to the decision to stay and finish up the project on-site.

Yeezy was previously expected to release the body of work last week, following his first listening party at the Mercedes Benz Stadium but the album was nowhere to be found on streaming platforms come Friday night.

However, A day later, Justin Laboy informed fans that the album had been rescheduled for an August 6th release, as Ye was putting his final touches on the album.

While fans were somewhat disappointed, it was understandable as a tweet from earlier that week had suggested that Jay-Z’s surprise verse on a track from the album was recorded hours prior to the listening party.

Per the initial listening party, appearances on the album include Pusha-T, Pop Smoke, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, and Jay-Z, however, it’s unknown how much the final album will change from the version that was previously heard.
