In a new single debuted at Kanye’s Donda listening party, the ‘All Mine’ rapper claimed that Kim Kardashian still harbours feelings for him.
The rapper hosted his second Donda listening party on Thursday (5 August) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, releasing a new song off his 10th studio album, said to be titled “Lord I Need You.”
The lyrics of the aforementioned track clearly referenced their divorce, where Ye can be heard rapping about how Kim attended both listening events along with their kids.
Ye rapped: “Time and space is a luxury / But you came here to show that you’re still in love with me.”
Yeezy also introduced new lyrics for the song “Love Unconditionally,” replacing the original lines “I’m losing my family” with “I’m losing all my family / Darling, come back to me.”
In other parts, Ye rapped: “She’s screaming at me / Honey, why could you leave? / Darling, how could you leave? / Come back tonight, baby / Come back tonight, darling, please / Darling, how could you leave?”
Fans can’t wait to have their turn with Kanye’s highly-anticipated album but as of writing, ‘Donda’ which was expected to finally arrive following the listening party has yet to be released. The album has already seen several delays, including a previously announced release date for 23rd July.
The project which is named after West’s late mother Donda West will include multiple features with names such as Lil Durk, Jay-Z, and more expected to appear on the album.
