Thousands of fans who purchased tickets to attend Kanye’s third and supposedly final ‘Donda’ listening party, were treated to an amazing night with the rapper and his body of work. However, they were also surprised by the appearance of Kim Kardashian who was present at the final moments of the live event.
Fans who watched the entire event on Apple Music will recall that towards the final moments of the live broadcast, Kardashian walked slowly toward West, wearing the finale gown from Balenciaga’s haute couture collection, which premiered in July during an event Ye attended. Prior to Kim’s appearance, West was shown setting himself on fire inside a replica of his childhood home.
Fans of the pair took the Donda encounter as a hint that the soon-to-be-divorced couple is “back together,” while others joked that it seemed like a remarriage. According to TMZ, the reunion skit was just a show of support for a broader designed narrative.
Several “sources with direct knowledge,” told the publication in recent weeks that the pair are “NOT back together” but rather opting for a “forever family” arrangement. TMZ reports that both have long supported one other’s goals and plans to do so in the future. Citing the importance of this particular ‘Donda’ listening party to the rapper, Kim was reportedly open to showing up for Ye.
The news comes only days after reports claimed Kim Kardashian will be retaining ‘West’ in her name even after their divorce is finalized.
