On the 10th track (“Can’t Leave You Alone”), the body of work features Juice, while Nipsey and YG appear on the remix to Maroon 5’s 2019 hit single, “Memories.” “Beautiful Mistakes,” a new release between the band and Megan Thee Stallion, is also included on the album.
This feature serves as the latest in Juice’s appearances following untimely passing in December 2019. The late rapper was previously featured on G Herbo’s “PTSD,” Polo G’s “Flex,” and Internet Money’s “Blastoff,” among other projects back in 2019.
After his untimely death in March 2019, Nipsey Hussle has been heavily featured on many songs. The late rapper has appeared on DJ Khaled’s “Higher,” The Game’s “Welcome Home,” and Big Sean’s “Deep Reverence” in the last two years.
The announcement comes only a month after Adam Levine unveiled the reason behind the album’s title during an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Speaking on the reason for using Jordi as the album title, Levine said: “It’s named after our late, great, fabulous amazing ex-manager, who passed away a few years ago, sadly, and so we thought there was no better tribute than to name the album after our boy.” – Levine said of Jordan Feldstein, who died in 2017 at age 40 due to a pulmonary embolism.
