Jordan Adetunji is back with ‘Distraction’, his latest single and another step in the Belfast artist’s constantly evolving sound.

Released via 300 Entertainment, ‘Distraction’ was co-written and co-produced by Adetunji alongside Toby Daintree, whose credits include work with FKA Twigs and Artemas.

The track marks Adetunji’s first release since ‘Who Is It’ earlier this year, while 2026 also saw him deliver ‘Climbing Up’. It continues a run of releases including ‘Smoke n Drank’, ‘Drama’ and ‘X n The City’ as he moves between R&B, hip-hop and alternative influences.

Adetunji broke through internationally with ‘KEHLANI’, which has accumulated more than 600 million streams and earned him a GRAMMY nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance. The track also received a BRIT Award nomination for Song of the Year and reached No.1 on Billboard’s Rhythmic chart alongside breaking into the Top 25 of the Hot 100.

Its success was followed by his 2025 mixtape A Jaguar’s Dream, which showcased his genre-fluid approach across hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats and hyperpop. The project included collaborations with Bryson Tiller on ‘305’ and kwn on ‘Too Many Women’, while GRAMMY winner Kehlani joined Adetunji for the official remix of his breakthrough hit.

With ‘Distraction’, Adetunji continues building on that momentum as his next musical chapter takes shape.
