Jesy Nelson is scheduled to release her first solo song next month, according to reports.
The 30-year-old signed a solo album contract with Polydor in May after departing chart-topping girl trio Little Mix in December to focus on her mental health and well-being.
Since then, Jesy has teased fans on social media with snippets of herself in a studio listening to her incoming tracks and having a good time.

According to The Sun, Jesy’s debut song is now finished, and she’s been rehearsing with dancers for the music video for the past several days.
The source said in a statement that Jesy has been hard at work making new music since the start of this year which has now resulted in it all coming “together quite quickly.”
“Her new record label Polydor are keen to strike while the iron is hot,” the source went on. “So they are throwing everything at her project and want the first single out in a matter of weeks.”
According to the source, Nelson’s incoming song is “more upbeat than some might be expecting,” with an accompanying music video that will include “‘plenty” of dancing.
The source added: “The difference this time is that she is not comparing herself to her bandmates. It’s been so refreshing for her.”
The solo singer “has been working hard and is feeling really positive about this new chapter of her career.”
After nine years with Little Mix, the vocalist was forced to take a break citing mental health concerns before eventually giving fans an official notice of her departure from the band.
