A quick recap of what is now the saga between Diddy Love and Jermaine Dupri. Days ago, Dupri took to social media, amidst the excitement during the Verzuz battle between Fat Joe and Ja Rule – which saw the HipHop legends bring out the likes of Jadakiss, Nelly, Ashanti, and more on stage to surprise audience and viewers alike – to challenge Diddy to a Verzuz showdown.

Dupri wrote: “Somebody let @Diddy know I’m @thegarden right now ! And he gon need some training for me,” implying that he’s set to go hit-for-hit on Verzuz with Love.

Following his tweet, Diddy replied on Twitter, saying:

“Beloved you my nigga but your arms too short to box with God!!! You aiint got enough hits. I’ll smash you with just biggie n Mary.”

Adding: “But I do have the upmost respect on you as a musical legend – Dre the only one can get in the ring w me . – LOVE 🖤”

The saga continues… Dupri has now released a new video on social media, addressing Diddy’s last tweet where he captioned a video of himself showing off his fingers and said, “My arms are long enough to do this all day, what about yours?”

Exciting stuff right?. Well, Usher sure thinks so, as the R&B icon gave his opinion on a battle between Diddy and Dupri, saying:

“Being a part of the hits that [Dupri] has, I can’t say that. He has plenty of hits and I think that Diddy does, too. It’s hard for me, ‘cause they both my brothers. It could definitely be a great one.”

Do you agree with Usher and Dupri?
