Jeremih will appear alongside Joseph Sikora in the forthcoming Power Book IV: Force, which is the third installment of 50 Cent and Courtney Kemp’s Power universe.

Tommy Egan, Sikora’s character, leaves New York City for good and relocates to the West Coast for a fresh start in Power Book IV: Force.

Jeremih is set to play a high-ranking CBI officer who is well-versed in the drug trade and will go to whatever length to prove his allegiance to the Sampson brothers.

Lili Simmons, Gabrielle Ryan, Isaac Keyes, Shane Harper, Kris D. Lofton, Anthony Fleming III, Lucien Cambric, and Tommy Flanagan are among the Power Book IV cast members.

This comes after Jeremih was almost killed by COVID-19 in 2020.

Speaking on Sway last Monday (May 17th), the ‘Birthday Sex’ hitmaker shared on the experience saying: “What I can say is, man, it definitely is real. I didn’t take it for granted. And truth be told, this was kinda like … I’m a living, walking testimony. To let y’all know, I was really down bad for the last month and a half. While I was in there, you know, I don’t even remember the day I went in. That’s how messed up I was.”

Explaining the challenges in battling the illness, Jeremih said: “I had the tube down my throat for about a week and a half,” he said. “I was really, like, in a dream and I ain’t gonna lie, I woke up about two times and all I remember is just seeing a white light … What I ended up having—and I don’t mind sharing it because now, you know, I’m here—it was called a [multisystem] inflammatory syndrome. MIS. Which is a rare case of, you know, cause and effect of [COVID-19]. My whole insides, all my organs, became inflamed. It was going down.”

He further explained the challenge he faced, having to learn how to walk again during recovery.

“I had to learn how to walk again, eat, all that,” Jeremih said. “I look at it as kind of somewhat of a blessing now, as crazy as it might sound,” he said. “I needed to sit down. I needed to take a break.”

We are excited about this news and having Jeremih onboard for the star-dubbed series will only increase fan excitement for the forthcoming series.

Congratulations Jeremih!
