Some hours after the announcement, Jeffree took to social media to address fans on their condition while narrating the incident.
“This morning was one of the scariest moments of our entire lives,” Star wrote. “I’m so grateful to be here still. I’m in excruciating pain because part of my back is broken and I have vertebrae fractures on my spine. My doctor said it will take a few months but I should make a full recovery.”
According to TMZ, the crash happened around 8:30 a.m. local time on Hat 6 Road in Wyoming. According to authorities, Star was driving a Rolls Royce when it lost control due to the frozen conditions.
Per reports, the pair were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, and the Wyoming Highway Patrol reports that narcotics or alcohol did not seem to play a role in the collision.
Star went on to elaborate on the more severe conditions of his friend Daniel, saying he had survived colon cancer three times which was leaving him more at risk with complications.
My best friend Daniel has internal injuries and because he has survived colon cancer three times, he’s having complications with his organs and they’re monitoring him 24/7. We’ll know more soon. Thank you to every single person checking on us 💯

Star also followed up with a more in-depth look at the Rolls Royce that was involved in the accident.
This was hard but I had to go see my car today. Thank God a #RollsRoyce is built with highly reinforced steel because it saved our lives 🙏🏻 Time to heal and let my body repair. pic.twitter.com/5YY5CVpl1V
