According to reports, Jamie Foxx will replay the role of Electro in the upcoming Spider-Man film.

 

In 2014 Amazing Spider-Man 2, Jamie portrayed the super-villain Electro, when Sony Pictures had the rights to the Marvel Comics character which was played by Andrew Garfield.

 

Per reports from The Hollywood Reporter, Jamie ‘is in final talks’ to appear on screen alongside Tom Holland, who is currently playing the role of Spider-Man, for the third instalment of the series.

 

Once again Jon Watts, who directed Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far from Home, will be directing this new project while Marvel Chief Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal handle the production.

 

Tom Holland will be cast alongside the likes of Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon and hopefully Jamie Foxx.

 

Shooting is expected to be by the end of 2020 and end in February 2021 as Filming was postponed in July thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

We hope and expect to have our minds blown with Spider-Man 3.
