Tyler, The Creator’s man-crush on Jadakiss has finally been addressed by the Yonkers rapper.

Jadakiss, along with The Lox members Sheek Louch and Styles P, discussed their Verzuz battle against Dipset earlier this month in an interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club, which premiered on YouTube on Wednesday (Aug. 11).

During the chat, Jadakiss shrugged off Charlamagne Tha God’s question about Tyler’s “high praise” which alluded to a man crush for him during The Lox Verzuz showdown and playfully advised Tyler to cool down.

With a grin, Jada remarked, “Tyler, The Creator better chill out.” Before saying, “Nah, I like Tyler, The Creator. That just means that he tapped into our frequency [and] he loved Verzuz so I didn’t take it as disrespect. Very talented, very smart dude.”

Tyler’s fondness for the ‘Soul Food’ rapper was further emphasized by Charlamagne. “He expounded and said you care. That’s what he got—that ’Kiss and The Lox care about the craft of rap,” Charlamagne said.

However, Jada was referring to Tyler’s Instagram post which he shared during the Verzuz battle, writing, “Pause i think i gotta crush on Jadakiss that nigga confidence and voice control is crazy and he aged well wheesh.”

Later in the discussion, Jada had to debunk claims that suggested he wrote verses on several tracks from some of music’s best, including Ma$e’s verse on “Horse & Carriage,” The Notorious B.I.G.’s rhymes on 112’s “Only You,” Biggie and Diddy’s verses on “Mo Money, Mo Problems” and Jennifer Lopez’s song “Jenny on the Block.”

The ‘Checkmate’ rapper said: “All of them are the most wrongly as they can be. Nowhere next to close.”
