Iggy Azalea announced she’ll be focusing her creative efforts elsewhere after her upcoming album.
Taking to Twitter, Iggy explained why the forthcoming album, ‘End of an Era’ is “so special” to her in a series of tweets to her fans on Thursday.
Iggy tweeted: “‘End of an Era’ is so special to me because after I drop my album next month iam going to take a few years to focus on other creative projects and things I’m feeling passionate and inspired by, beyond music.” Before saying, “I’m excited for you guys to see different sides to me in the future.”
The “I Am The Stripclub” rapper then tweeted about how excited she is to see fans again during the tour for the upcoming album and hoped they will continue to support whatever endeavor she takes on next.
Shifting my energy and focus to what I’m most excited about is what is right for me and I hope you’ll continue to support whatever creative projects I’m out here doing!

The femcee later hinted at a new project, in response to a fan who expressed excitement for what’s next, where Azalea promised that she’ll be releasing “the coolest project” the week after the album drops.

The news comes just weeks after the femcee battled online backlash over her appearance in the music video for ‘I Am The Stripclub.’
In response to the critics, Azalea explained she has always had that skin tone and that the seemingly darker shade seen in the music video was that of a lighting issue but nothing to do with ‘blackfishing.’
I’m the same color as I always am, just in a dimly lit room with red lights.
It’s the same makeup from every other part of the video just with a Smokey eye and different wig.
Just ignore them, who cares?
