‘Blinding Lights’ made the headlines last week when it set the record for most weeks in the tally’s top 10. This makes it the fifth Hot 100 chart-topper of the Weeknd’s career.

With other recognition like the longest-running top 5 in the billboard 62-year history, ‘Blinding Lights’ got one more week to be crowned as the chart’s longest-running top 10 hits, thanks to the mix of digital downloads, streams and radio airplay.

Billboard reports:

“The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” backtracks 5-7 on the Hot 100, after spending four weeks at No. 1. It banks a record 40th week in the top 10, breaking a tie with Post Malone’s “Circles” for the top total in the chart’s archives.
