Following recent rumors and whispers regarding Gunna snitching on his fellow YSL members in the ongoing Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) case, the Atlanta rapper has released his first track since his release, in which he addresses the accusations.
Gunna addresses life after incarceration in Bread & Butter, as well as snitching rumors in the Atlanta rap industry, while vehemently denying any involvement with law enforcement that resulted in his release.
He raps, “F*ck I pay the lawyers all those mills for?/Just so I won’t have to say a word to dodge a railroad..” Before later adding, “Never gave no statement or agreed to take no stand on ’em…. Lawyers and the D.A. did some sneaky shit, I fell for it.”
The song arrives months after Gunna received his freedom last year after entering an Alford plea, which meant he admitted guilt while maintaining his innocence to all but one charge – conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act – leveled against him.
His fellow YSL members, including Young Thug, are still incarcerated and awaiting trial.
